(INDIANAPOLIS) – Indiana’s unemployment rate saw another slight increase last month.
According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the state’s jobless rate increased to 4.1 percent in June, up from 4.0 percent a month prior.
The unemployment rate has increased each of the last two months but remains below the national rate of 5.9 percent.
Indiana’s total labor force stands at 3.35 million, and the state’s 63.2 percent labor force participation rate remains above the national rate of 61.6 percent.
Kentucky saw its unemployment rate drop to 4.4 percent in June, while Ohio’s jobless rate increased to 5.2 percent.
June employment data for Indiana counties will be available on Monday at noon.
