(Franklin County, Ind.) – The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down on Monday in Franklin County.
The EF0 touched down around 9:44 p.m. along a wooded area west of Holland Road and south of Oxford Pike.
The tornado lasted two minutes and traveled 0.69 miles. According to the NWS, the tornado reached an estimated maximum wind speed of 75 mph with a maximum path width of 80 yards.
Drone footage revealed broken branches and convergent swirls within crops in the area. A property near the intersection of Holland Road and Oxford Pike received minor damage, while an outbuilding sustained roof panel loss and the residence had minor roof damage along with blown out windows.
Tree damage was also observed in the area.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
