Lawrenceburg Public Library District Remains Closed, Phased Reopening To Begin Soon

Details of the opening will be made available soon.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - While staying home to help mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 has not been easy, the Lawrenceburg Public Library and the North Dearborn Branch Library have announced they are not quite ready to open to the public yet.

With Stage 2 of Governor Holcomb's "Back on Track" starting this past Monday, public libraries were able to open "according to their own policies and Centers of Disease Control and Prevention guidelines."

Similar to the state plan, the Lawrenceburg Public Library District has planned for a phased reopening to protect both the staff and community. Details of the opening will be made available soon.

Until the doors are opened and the public is able to enjoy the full scale of the libraries, the Lawrenceburg Public Library District would like to remind the community that many digital resources remain available. Visit www.lpld.lib.in.us/ to see what the library district has to offer online, including 107 new books, 36 new movies, and 16 new music CDs this week.
