(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Archaeological Research Institute (ARI) is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated 2023 field season at the Guard Archaeological Preserve.
With over 50 community members in attendance, the season began with a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony that featured captivating augmented reality tours, engaging experimental archaeology activities, and an overview of the comprehensive 2023 research plan.
From now until October, ARI invites the public to participate in a variety of free outdoor experiences, including field opportunities, experimental archaeology programs, augmented reality tours, and junior field experiences.
