Charlie Daniels Dies At 83

The Country Music Hall of Famer will be missed, but his music will live on forever.

Charlie Daniels is dead at the age of 83.

The Country Music Hall of Famer and Grand Ole Opry member passed away Monday morning after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke,

Daniels, the lead singer of the Charlie Daniels Band, is best known for his number-one country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”.

He is also known for his contributions to Southern Rock and Bluegrass music.
