South Ripley's Ward Commits to Mount St. Joseph University

Ward is the second local player to commit to the Mount this year.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Mount St. Joseph University has landed another basketball commit from southeastern Indiana. 

South Ripley High School senior Blaine Ward signed his letter of intent on Friday to continue his academic and basketball career at The Mount. 

Ward was an All-ORVC and All-District selection this past season. He averaged 19.3 points and 3.5 assists as a senior. He finished his high school career with 1,397 points. 

He joins Switzerland County senior Cam Craig on the Lions 2025 recruiting class.
