South Ripley's Roepke Again Leads ORVC Weekly Awards

Elexah Roepke posted a big double-double in a game for the Lady Raiders last week.

(Versailles, Ind.) – Another week, another honor for South Ripley girls basketball star Elexah Roepke.

The Raiders senior has been named the Ohio River Valley Conference Girls Basketball Co-Player of the Week with Southwestern’s Abby Ralston. The awards for the week of December 10-15 were announced Tuesday.

Roepke posted 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a win over Switzerland County. The Purdue University Northwest commit is third in the conference ins scoring (18.1 ppg), fifth in rebounding (9.3 rpg), sixth in assists (30), and second in field goal percentage (53 percent).

Ralston, who is averaging 16.2 points per game, scored 39 points in two games for the Southwestern Lady Rebels last week.

The ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week is another Southwestern Rebel. Foster Mefford put up 29 points, 19 assists, eight steals, and seven rebounds in two games.
