INDIANAPOLIS – Three Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference football stars have been selected to play in the annual IFCA Murat Shrine North/South All-Star Football Classic.

The 57th edition of the All-Star Classic will take place on Friday, July 14 at Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis.

South Dearborn wide receiver Austin Ballart, Lawrenceburg offensive lineman Jacob Pierce, and Franklin County defensive end Bryce Hodapp will suit up for the South team.

Ballart was named to the IFCA Class 3A Senior All-State Team in December. He led the Knights with 55 receptions, 853 yards and six touchdowns. He committed to Thomas More University in January.

Pierce was a key part of the Tigers run to the Class 3A State Championship game in 2022. He helped anchor an offensive line that paved the way for 3,455 rushing yards.

Hodapp finished 2022 as Franklin County’s second-leading tackler with 68 tackles, including 10 for a loss. His 10.5 sacks were the most by an EIAC defender.

The trio from southeastern Indiana will have a familiar face on the South coaching staff. Kenny Higgins will represent South Dearborn and the EIAC as an assistant coach.
