Aston Named HCAC Offensive Player of the Year, Salyers Makes 2nd Team All-Conf.

Two former East Central Trojans had big seasons at the Mount.

CINCINNATI – It did not take long for Eli Aston to make his presence felt at the college level.

In his first season in a Mount St. Joseph uniform, he was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

Aston finished the season with a school-record 1,262 yards receiving. Of his 60 receptions this season, 13 went for touchdowns.

The former East Central star was also a 1st Team All-HCAC selection. He was joined by 16 teammates.

Another East Central graduate, Devin Salyers, was named 2nd Team All-HCAC as an offensive lineman.
