(Hebron, Ky.) – Three arrests have been made after damage was done to a northern Kentucky high school and office space.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of heavy damage at Conner High School and a vacant office building on the 1600 block of Burlington Pike on July 12.

Deputies say Anthony C. Collins, Brian A. Kerr, both 18 and both of Erlanger, along with Kyle A. Kerr, 18, of Burlington, committed potentially tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of damage.

According to a news release, deputies say the Kerr brothers along with Collins, first burglarized and damaged a vacant office space on Burlington Pike by flooding sinks and damaging walls and ceilings. The flooding also allegedly caused damage to an attached business next door.

Collins and Brian Kerr then traveled to Conner High School where they allegedly damaged the ticket booth and press box at the football field by shattering multiple windows with a baseball bat.

Other damage reported was flooding of the women’s bathroom, knocking over the Conner Cougar statue, damaging a flag pole and stealing the Kentucky State Flag and Conner High School flag.

Lastly, deputies say the playground area behind Goodridge Elementary school was also damaged.

The Kerr brothers were arrested on July 12, while Collins was taken into custody on July 16. All three individuals allegedly admitted to committing the crimes.

Deputies say Collins stated that he committed the crimes “because he was bored.”

Collins and Brian Kerr are charged with two counts of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and one count Burglary 3rd Degree, while Kyle Kerr faces just one count of Criminal Mischief and Burglary.

Collins is held in the Boone County Jail on $30,000 bond.

Brian Kerr and Kyle Kerr have since been released on $5,000 and $2,500 bond, respectively.
