The Speakman House Celebrates 175 Years

(Aurora, Ind.) -  The Speakman House is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year. 

To celebrate the current owners, Mark Banschbach and Guinevere Emery, are hosting a historic milestone tour, showing off renovation highlights and unveiling a commemorative painting featuring the Speakman house. 

Renowned artist Cindy Crofoot is behind the oil on linen piece that will feature hidden tributes to the families of the Speakman House. 

Tours will be every half hour from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 26. 

Tickets will be $20. Kids 12 and under are $10. 

Tickets will be available starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Speakman House on South Veranda. 

Free parking is available.
