(Ohio/Switzerland County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking Pressure Cleaning will continue work this week on a bridge rehabilitation contract on S.R. 56 and S.R. 250 in Ohio and Switzerland Counties. The contract includes deck overlays at three locations: S.R. 56 over Laughery Creek, S.R. 56 over Arnold Creek, and S.R. 250 over Wade Creek.
The contractor is expected to remove restrictions on the S.R. 56 bridge over Arnold Creek as early as Tuesday, October 4, and move to the 250 bridge over Wade Creek near Patriot in Switzerland County. The bridge is located just west of S.R 156 and will be reduced to one lane with temporary traffic signals. This is the third and final bridge on the contract.
The contract was awarded to Enneking in August 2022. All three locations are expected to be complete by mid-to-late October. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
