Students Report Minor Injuries In Sunman-Dearborn Bus Crash

A school bus struck a guardrail along Pinhook Road on Thursday morning.

(West Harrison, Ind.) - A Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools bus was involved in a crash Thursday morning.

The bus struck a guardrail on Pinhook Road, according to Dearborn County Sheriff Shane McHenry.

Students were on board the bus. Some of them reported minor injuries.

A cause of the crash is under investigation, McHenry said.

Parents say they were notified through a phone call from the schools following the crash.

School district administrators could not be reached for comment.

Storm Outreach Center to Open in Franklin County

The center will open on Wednesday.

The accident took place last Friday afternoon on KY 36.

Students and staff from Aurora, Dillsboro and Manchester participated.
