(Sunman, Ind.) - There’s a first time for everything.
For the first time in school history, St. Nicholas School in Sunman participated in the Regional Rube Goldberg Machine competition on March 9 at Jac-Cen-Del High School.
Not only did they participate, but the school’s team came away with the Judge’s Award, which is given to one team in each division who demonstrate creativity, teamwork and Rube Goldberg’s never give-up attitude.
“Some of the machines were pretty amazing,” said Mrs. Kirschner, principal and team moderator. “Winning the Judge’s Award is an amazing honor, especially for a first-year team.
