Single Vehicle Crash In Franklin Co. Claims Indy Man's Life

The accident happened Thursday night on Five Point Road.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – One person is dead after a single vehicle accident in Franklin County.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the accident in the 19000 block of Five Point Road on Thursday around 9:32 p.m.

Deputies determined that Zachery L. Fledderman, 36, of Indianapolis, was westbound on Five Point Road when his vehicle went off the south side of the roadway, striking two trees.

Fledderman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Batesville Fire, Batesville EMS and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.

The accident remains under investigation.
