Matching funds of up to $75,000 will be made available by RCCF.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation is hosting its eighth annual Day of Giving on Friday, November 4. Citizens of Ripley County are encouraged to Give Where you Live and Support the Future Sustainability of your Community or Favorite Charity between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This is the perfect time to donate to the Ripley County Community Foundation because donations to endowed funds will be eligible to receive a 50 percent match, not to exceed $5,000 per fund. Matching funds may be placed into the endowed fund of the donor’s choice and will be committed on a first come, first served basis. Your gift can be made in honor of, or in the memory of a family member or a friend, leave a legacy, or pay-it-forward in support of your favorite cause or nonprofit organization.

2022 marks the Ripley County Community Foundation’s 25th Anniversary. In recognition of that milestone, the Board of Directors has increased the amount of funding available to match donations made on the Day of Giving to $75,000. “Offering the match is just one way the Board of Directors is able to express their appreciation for its donors and the organizations dedicated to creating a better future for all,” stated Amy Streator, Executive Director of the Ripley County Community Foundation. Streator further noted, “This year’s theme is, ‘Give Where You Live because a gift to the Ripley County Community Foundation is an investment in your community and ensures that you will see the impact of your donation.”

Donations may be made by visiting the Community Foundation’s office at 13 E. George Street, Suite B, in Batesville, over the phone at (812) 933-1098, or online at www.rccfonline.org.

The community foundation will use the Day of Giving as an opportunity to Give Where It Lives because it will award $50,000 in grants throughout the day and is hosting a supply drive for the benefit of Safe Passage. Safe Passage assists in “Providing Help, Healing & Hope to build a community free of domestic and sexual violence.” Your donation of supplies will give you an entry into our drawing for a $500 grant, to a qualified charity of your choice!
