(Hamilton County, Oh.) - Continuing work on the Interstate 74 and Interstate 275 resurfacing project requires an overnight ramp closure tonight.
Beginning at 10:00 p.m., the ramp from I-74 East to I-275 South will be closed until 5:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18. During the closure, traffic can continue to the State Route 128 exit and reenter I-74 West to I-275 South.
The project includes pavement repairs and resurfacing I-74 from the Dry Fork Road interchange to just west of the Hamilton/Cleves Road interchange, as well as I-275, between its junction with I-74 and the Kilby Road interchange. The project also includes minor bridge work at structures on I-74.
Operations will move to I-275 following pavement repairs and bridge work on I-74, and paving work on either route will likely begin in early June.
The John R. Jurgensen Company was awarded a contract for approximately $7.99 million to complete the project, and all work is scheduled to be completed in October of 2023.
