“Being able to meet legislators and witness the lawmaking process are some of the amazing parts of the page program.”

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – State Rep. Randy Frye (R-Greensburg) recently welcomed local students to the Statehouse where they served as pages during the 2020 legislative session:

Through the Indiana House Page Program, these students toured offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, helped staff with daily responsibilities and joined Frye on the House floor to witness the legislative process.

“Being able to meet legislators and witness the lawmaking process are some of the amazing parts of the page program,” Frye said. “The pages from our district have been fantastic and they are always a highlight of each legislative session. I hope these students learned something on their visit, will come back next year and bring some of their friends along to enjoy the experience."

Frye said that while this session's page program has concluded, students between the ages of 13 and 18 should consider participating in 2021.
