Phone Scam Reported In Switzerland Co.

Residents are reminded to never give out personal information until you verify its not a scam.

(Vevay, Ind.) – Switzerland County residents are being warned of a phone scam.

According to the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office, scammers are calling residents and pretending to be with Dish Network.

The caller ID is showing Dish Network and the scammers are threatening to charge your bill or discontinue service if you do not upgrade your account.

The Sheriff’s Office advises anyone who receives a call like this to hang up and call the company directly and do not give any personal information until you verify it is not a scam.
