Officers Rescue Injured Hawk On I-74

Great job Trooper Stovall and Deputy Hunger!

(Ripley County, Ind.) - Last night, Indiana State Trooper Kyle Stovall and Ripley County Sheriff's Department Deputy Adam Hunger teamed up to help a misplaced and injured hawk.

Trooper Stovall noticed the bird along I-74 in Franklin County and called Deputy Hunger for backup.

After safely containing the hawk, it was transported to Red Wolf Sanctuary in Ohio County for rehabilitation

Thank you and great job to these responding officers who were able to help a non-traditional victim needing some assistance.
