INDOT says working at night should help alleviate heavy traffic problems on U.S. 50 in Aurora and Lawrenceburg.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Work crews are getting a new time shift for a pavement project on U.S. 50 in Aurora and Lawrenceburg.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has confirmed that work associated with the current project on U.S. 50 will be scheduled during night time hours beginning Monday, April 22.
INDOT says working at night should help alleviate heavy traffic conditions on U.S. 50.
The Lawrenceburg Police Department released the following statement regarding the road project:
“Everyone understood that the condition of U.S. 50 had deteriorated and needed to be resurfaced. They are working as quickly as they can to complete the project. Please be patient, allow extra time to get to where you need to go and be considerate of other drivers and those working in the construction zone. Help keep everyone safe.”
