(Wilmington, Oh.) - The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Heat Advisory for the tri-state area.
The advisory is in effect from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Today's forecast calls for a high of 95 degrees with heat index values of 103 expected. Aside from the heat, there is a chance for some isolated thunderstorms throughout the day.
The National Weather Service reminds individuals to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
