National Weather Service Calling for Storms Overnight, Tornadoes Possible

Tri-state area residents should be weather aware.

(Wilmington, Oh.) – The latest data from the National Weather Service has increased confidence in several waves of storms tonight, some of which are likely to be severe.

According to the NWS, the primary threat window is between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are possible, and a strong tornado cannot be ruled out.

In addition, if the rounds of thunderstorms affect the same area overnight, flash flooding will be possible.
