Multiple Injuries in Vehicle vs. Buggy Accident in Ripley Co.

Multiple agencies responded to the crash on Sunday evening.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Multiple agencies were dispatched to an accident with injuries on Sunday evening in Ripley County. 

According to Versailles Fire Rescue, the accident involving a passenger vehicle and an Amish Buggy took place on U.S. 421 south of Versailles. 

As a result of the crash, multiple patients were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The names of the individuals involved and their status was not released. 

A cause of the crash was also not disclosed. 

Versailles Fire Rescue was assisted at the scene by New Marion VFD, Ripley County EMS and the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
