"We will rebound from this uncharted territory following the COVID-19 public health emergency and be stronger than ever."

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A message from Mayor Mollaun:

Hello Folks,

I wanted to reach out and share an update on the City of Lawrencburg's efforts regarding the COVID-19 impact on local businesses and residents. The City of Lawrenceburg is focused on business sustainability thru economic hardships endured as a result of the national COVID-19 emergency declaration. We also recognize the unforeseen impact on our workforce and city residents.

Consequently, the City of Lawrenceburg is in the process of developing a plan committed to assist small businesses and residents. Our goal is to create a path moving forward to provide immediate assistance for local city businesses and residents to continue to thrive in the City of Lawrenceburg. Program details are ongoing and should be solidified here shortly with announcements in the very near future.

Beware of potential scammers seeking personal information to send utility rebates or claims of COVID-19 funding being sent to residents or local businesses. Look for City of Lawrenceburg and LMU updates to be provided at thinklawrenceburg.com and on our social media outlets, including City of Lawrenceburg Facebook page or via the mailed LMU Utility Bill insert as the official resource for information. For questions, feel free to reach out to me via cell at (513) 760-4632 anytime.

Though we are experiencing difficult and trying times we stand strong for our community and neighbors. Our public safety, first responders and employees stand ready to respond and are fully staffed. All city services continue uninterrupted. We will rebound from this uncharted territory following the COVID-19 public health emergency and be stronger than ever. Our community, our city employees and our businesses will support each other to ensure a bright future. Thank you for your support and take good care.

Sincere regards,

Mayor Kelly Mollaun
