Mayor Mollaun Announces LHS Class Of 2020 Senior Spotlights

All 169 LHS graduates will be recognized on media boards throughout town.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Congratulations to the Lawrenceburg High School Class of 2020! In honor of all 169 local LHS Seniors, Mayor Mollaun and the Lawrenceburg City Council will feature Senior Spotlights with special recognitions on the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds US 50 and Short Street media boards starting today at 1 pm. LHS Senior Spotlights will run until the end of May 2020. Graphics for each location will be slightly different as each media board has different set up features, therefore, the LHS Senior Class pictures will only be included on the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds sign.

Mayor Mollaun states that “the 12 years of hard work and focused efforts the LHS Senior students put towards their educational and extracurricular pursuits should be recognized. Here are the young leaders that will help ensure Lawrenceburg remains a City on the Rise in the decades to come. We are proud of our graduating Lawrenceburg High School classmen and their family’s commitment towards quality education. On behalf of the City of Lawrenceburg, we wish our LHS Seniors the very best. Go Tigers!”

Our community joins in celebrating the hard work and dedication LHS Seniors have achieved to become the Lawrenceburg High School Senior Class of 2020 even while transitioning thru the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation Superintendent Karl Galey shared “We appreciate all of the support from the City of Lawrenceburg in recognizing our senior students.” Best known to the Seniors on a daily basis would be LHS Principal Snyder who shared “A thank you to the City of Lawrenceburg for acknowledging our Seniors especially in these challenging times. Seniors, I am proud of you for your accomplishments and perseverance.”
