Longtime South Dearborn HS Teacher Passes Away at 84

(Aurora, Ind.) – The Aurora and surrounding communities are mourning the death of a longtime educator and community servant.

Patty Rullman passed away last Thursday at the age of 84.

Rullman worked as a teacher for the South Dearborn Community School Corporation for over 25 years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, the LWML, Pi Beta Phi sorority, Tri Kappa, St John Lutheran Church Altar Guild, Dearborn County Retired Teacher Association, the Hillforest Historical Society Board, the American Legion Auxiliary, and Main Street Aurora.

Friends and family will be received Friday, February 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church. Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran School, St. John Lutheran Church, and the Hillforest Historical Society.
