(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - INDOT has made upgrades to a couple of intersections in Lawrenceburg.

In anticipation of the opening of Wawa along U.S. 50, there are no longer two left turn lanes from Doughty Road onto U.S. 50. There is not a right turn lane, a straight lane and a left turn lane.

"Please be aware as we will be stepping up vehicle stops to make sure drivers make the adjustment. That doesn't mean automatic citations. Also, none of these changes are under our control and we can't adjust them back. It is all controlled by INDOT," reads a statement from Lawrenceburg Police.

The other recent change is at U.S. 50 and Tanners Creek Drive, where motorists can no longer turn left onto Tanners Creek Drive unless there is a green arrow. In addition, you can no longer turn right off of Tanners at that intersection on red.
