The shift to remote learning is expected to last about a week.
(Harrison, Oh.) – Harrison Junior School is shifting to remote learning due to a spike in staff COVID-19 cases.
Superintendent John Hamstra announced Monday that Harrison Junior School will move to remote learning on Tuesday, January 26 through Monday, February 1.
“The sheer number of staff absences due to positive cases/family member quarantines is putting us in the position to have to go remote,” Hamstra added.
Harrison Junior School is expected to resume normal in-person instruction and remote options on Tuesday, February 2.
Due to extra-curriculars not being impacted, sports and clubs will continue as normal.
Meals will be available for all students on Thursday, January 28 from 3-4 PM. Parents and guardians are asked to call the school office at 513-367-4831 to place your orders. The deadline is Tuesday at 3 PM.
