Fundraiser For Harrison Dog Park This Sunday

Greater Harrison Pet Festival happens at the community center.

(Harrison, Oh.) – Of course pets are welcome at the first ever Greater Harrison Pet Festival this weekend.

Organizer Mary Kaeser says the festival is being put on to raise funds for a new fence at the Harrison Dog Park.

The festival will be held Sunday, June 10 at the Harrison Community Center, 300 George Street. It is free to attend.

The events include a pet parade at 1:00 p.m., dog training at 2:00, and the Hamilton County 4-H Club dog projects at 3:00. The event will continue until 6:00 p.m. with a groomer on site, pet adoptions from the Franklin County Humane Society, face painting, and food from LaRosa’s Pizzeria.
