Flash Flood Watch For Entire Area Friday

Some parts of the tri-state could receive an inch of rainfall Friday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Flooding is possible in tri-state communities with more rain in the forecast.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch through 5:00 p.m. for 17 counties in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.  A Flood Advisory is in effect for Dearborn, Franklin and Ripley counties until 8:45 a.m.

Forecasters say ground already saturated from rain this week will be soaked with another inch in some locations Friday.

People are being urged to avoid low-lying areas and use caution at highway dips and underpasses.

A crash on Interstate 74 near the West Harrison exit Friday morning involved a vehicle which spun off the highway and into a ditch.
