These decisions were made at the Utility Board and City Council Meeting.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Payments for the LMU fiber project will now come from the City of Lawrenceburg's account.
It was motioned by Justin Noppert at the Utility Board Meeting on Tuesday that the fiber be moved to a city account and give the Clerk Treasurer the authority to pay these claims.
A unanimous vote to pass this motion came from the councilmen at the Utility Board Meeting and City Council Meeting.
The city Clerk Treasurer will now have the ability to pay the claims regarding the fiber project from the Municipal Development Fund (MDF).
At this time, it is not known how much money will be taken out of the account, but Mayor Kelly Mollaun assured the council that he will have numbers at the next meeting.
