Dearborn County CARE invites local employers to attend a free symposium this Tuesday.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Employers in Southeastern Indiana are invited to attend a free Employment Symposium on Tuesday, August 13 at the Lawrenceburg Event Center.
The event is hosted by Dearborn County CARE in conjunction with the Southeast Indiana Workforce Investment Board and WorkOne.
The event will provide valuable insights and resources on managing the workforce impact of the ongoing substance-use crisis.
Breakfast and registration will be held from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. The symposium will run form 9:00 to noon.
This symposium is designed to equip employers with the knowledge and tools to navigate the challenges posed by substance use in the workplace. Attendees will explore the do’s and don’ts of addressing substance-use issues with current and prospective employees, ensuring their businesses remain protected while supporting valuable workforce members.
