DUI Suspect Leads US 50 Chase

(Whitewater Township, Oh.) – A Lawrenceburg woman suspected of driving drunk led police on a high-speed chase on U.S. 50 early Friday morning.

 

The chase began on the highway in Hamilton County’s Whitewater Township as Cynthia Reuter refused to pull over for a sheriff's deputy. Speeds at time reached about 100 MPH.

 

Reuter led officers across the state line into Indiana, where the chase ended near the intersection of U.S. 50 and State Road 1 in Greendale.

 

Reuter, 52, was arrested by Greendale Police. She was booked into the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center at about 1:30 a.m. on charges of OWI-Endangering a Person, Operating with a BAC .08-.14, and Resisting Law Enforcement-Fleeing with a Vehicle.
