Dearborn Co. COVID-19 Vaccine Site Welcoming Walk-Ins

The Moderna vaccine is available for anyone 18 and older regardless of your place of residence.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Health Department is making it easier for area residents to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Health officer Dr. Stephen Eliason says the county is now accepting walk-ins at the Lawrenceburg Event Center for anyone age 18 and older, including residents from other states.

The LEC vaccination site is open Tuesday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. and Saturdays between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Walk-ins will be accepted while supplies last. Per Dr. Eliason, the county has a large supply of the Moderna vaccine.

Anyone who has received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine may receive their second dose at the LEC, provided four weeks have passed since receiving the first dose.

Although no registration is required, you can save time at the vaccine site if you preregister at ourshot.in.gov.
