Crash Into Utility Pole Closes State Road 48 In Manchester

(Manchester, Ind.) - State Road 48 is closed for an accident near Manchester Elementary School. 

One vehicle reportedly struck a utility pole just after 6:30 causing some power lines to fall on a school bus. The bus was cleared from the scene and no injuries were reported. 

State Road 48 remains closed between the Manchester Market and the elementary school until further notice. 

Duke Energy is reportedly on the scene to work on the damaged power lines. 

Motorists are asked to use an alternative route, if possible.
