City Of Aurora Receives $5K Grant From Civista Bank

The money will be used towards the purchase of security system at city parks and the city pool.

(Aurora, Ind.) - City of Aurora has received a $5,000.00 Grant Award from Civista Bank Charitable Foundation for the Aurora City Parks and Aurora Pool Security System. The City of Aurora requested assistance in obtaining a security system to be placed at the Aurora City Parks & Aurora City Pool. This will cut down on vandalism at the Aurora City Pool, ensure the safety of unattended minors, help protect park facilities, as well as, assist the Aurora Police Department to monitor park facilities 24 hours a day with the ability to prosecute damage to city facilities, including the Aurora Soccer Sports Complex as part of their investigation. The Civista Bank Charitable Foundation Grant Award will assist with purchasing an eight-channel NVR system with multiple cameras that includes hook-up, programming, modem router, battery back-up, surge protector and monitor, as well as, installation. 
 
The Aurora City Parks & Aurora City Pool are located on Park Ave in Aurora Indiana. Locations include the Aurora Sports Complex, Aurora City Pool, Senior Building, Pavilion, Round Barn, playground and Boy Scouts Cabin are located. These faculties are used by community members and organizations from Aurora and the surrounding regions. Events include Boy & Girl’s Scouts meetings, Quilting class, Paws, Hillforest Victorian Museum Fundraisers, Birthday Parties, Wedding Receptions, Pool Parties, Swim Lessons and ARCC Summer Camp.
