Cincinnati State OKs Harrison Airport Expansion

(Harrison, Oh.) - Plans are in the works to expand the number of hangars at a regional airport.

Cincinnati State Community College trustees have authorized bids for construction of two hangars at Cincinnati West Airport in Harrison. The college owns the airport.

Cincinnati West currently has hangar capacity for 22 planes. The new hangars would have enough room for a total of 20 more planes.

Financing for the expansion would be done through an internal loan to the airport fund, a consultant told the trustees.

Cincinnati State officials say the new hangars would allow the airport to be ready to pick up demand for hangar space if the Blue Ash Airport were to close.
