Church Taking Tuskegee Airman To “Red Tails”

(Patriot, Ind.) - Lt. Eugene Smith, former fighter pilot and instructor with the famed Tuskegee Airmen, will travel to the Florence, Kentucky Rave Cinema to view the movie Red Tails on Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2012.

 

Lt. Smith, age 93, has lived in Switzerland County for the past twenty years. Lt. Smith is a member of the Patriot Baptist Church and will be attending with other church members.

 

Red Tails tells the story of the famed Tuskegee Airmen who played a major role in the United States military efforts in World War II.
