(Harrison, Oh.) - Community members are invited to help fight against addiction at a family-fun event this week in Harrison.

Celebrate Recovery, a faith based 12 Step program at Church on Fire Ministries proudly presents a fun filled evening with the local Bluegrass band “My Brother’s Keeper”.

The event takes place Friday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Church on Fire on Harrison Avenue. The fundraising event will help fund efforts by Celebrate Recovery, whose purpose is to encourage fellowship, provide hope and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery.

"We have support groups and we teach them how to apply the 12 steps, which helps them not enable, and helps them to be able to say no," said Rosanne Moore.

The event includes free coffee, but specialty coffees will be available at a minimal price of $1 each. The lobby will also be filled with a variety of homemade baked goods for you to enjoy that evening or pack up and take home with you for Saturday morning breakfast.  Attendees are also encouraged to enjoy a small silent auction.
