Dierks Bentley Cited For Fishing Without License

Dierks says he won't make that mistake again after being cited in Colorado.

(Buena Vista, CO)  --  Dierks Bentley says he won't go fishing in the state of Colorado without a license again.

This after the country music star was cited by a Colorado Parks and Wildlife officer for fishing unlicensed.

It happened in Buena Vista this past weekend while Bentley was in the area for his Seven Peaks music fest.

In a Twitter post Monday, he said he was grateful that the officer treated him like a regular person.  He also said he will make sure to have a license the next time he goes fishing in Colorado.
