Switzerland County Star Earns IBCA Player of the Week Honors

(Vevay, Ind.) - Last week was a sensational week for Switzerland County junior Cam Craig. 

Craig averaged 38.5 points and 15.0 rebounds over two games, earning recognition from the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. He is one of six Week 15 Players of the Week. 

According to the IBCA, Craig was selected due to his all-around contributions and consistency in his team’s pair of wins. Craig scored 37 points in a 62-39 win at Shawe Memorial and a 40-point game in a 78-71 overtime win at home against Austin.

Craig shot 62 percent on 26-of-42 shooting from the field over the two-game stretch.

He also went 8-15 (53%) from deep, and 17-21 (81%) from the free throw line.

Switzerland County is back in action tonight at Rising Sun.
