(Aurora, Ind.) - South Dearborn senior Ava Cutter has committed to Indiana State University.
Cutter will continue her softball career at the Division I level, and plans to study sports communication with a goal to work for ESPN during and after college.
As a multi-sport athlete, Cutter has competed in six different sports earning eight varsity letters. Four of those varsity letters come by the way of the Lady Knights softball program.
Along the way, Cutter has earned All-EIAC honors, Ohio County Player of the Year, two-time All-State nominee, County Newcomer of the Year, and All-Dearborn County First Team, in addition to being a team leader in average and home runs.
Cutter has also earned multiple awards for her work in the classroom.
Aside from playing softball, Cutter has participated in volleyball, basketball, swim and cheerleading. She is a class historian for Student Government, and co-founded the student-led broadcast team, Knights Spotlight.
