(Aurora, Ind.) - The South Dearborn Knights kicked off their 2025 season with a win last Friday night.
The 27-6 victory over Jennings County was the 47th career victory for head coach Rand Ballart, making him the winningest coach in South Dearborn High School football history.
Ballart passed Jim Wheat, who led the Knights to 46 wins between 1990 and 1999.
South Dearborn's defense was dominate against Jennings County, allowing only 63 total yards and forcing two turnovers and a safety.
The Knights will host Madison this Friday for Pee Wee Recognition Night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
