East Central 42, South Dearborn 7 (Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game) - The Trojans improve to 5-1 overall (2-0 in EIAC 4A, 1st place). South Dearborn falls to 4-2 overall (1-1 in EIAC 4A).

  • Eli Aston (EC): 3 receptions, 87 yards, TD; 91-yard KO return TD
  • Adam Kunkel (SD): 13-25, 110 yards, TD

Lawrenceburg 34, Batesville 13 - The Tigers improve to 5-1 overall (1-0 in EIAC 3A, 1st place). Batesville falls to 3-3 overall (1-1 in EIAC 3A).

IHSAA Regional 4 at Roncalli

Lawrenceburg placed 16th out of 18 teams. Ella Shelton recorded the lowest score for the Tigers, carding a 94. Switzerland County's Hailey Hines competed as an individual, carding a 93. No local golfers advanced to the State Finals from this regional.

GIRLS GOLF

IHSAA Regional 3 at Lapel

Batesville placed third with a team score of 331, advancing to the State Final. Emma Weiler tied for the third best score with a 75. Josie Meyer carded an 80, followed by Addyson Weiler with an 81. Victoria Harpring carded a 91 and Madelyn Pohlman finished with a round of 111. All five will move on to the State Finals on Oct. 1-2 at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel.

  • Ean Loichinger placed 2nd. Jake Chapman and Daren Smith finish in the Top 10 for the Bulldogs.
