CROSS COUNTRY

Franklin County girls won the Union County Invitational in Liberty on Tuesday. FC girls were led by Lauren Kelly’s third place finish at 21:05. The Wildcat boys were second in the five-team meet, led by Drew Grant in seventh place at 18:51.

 

 

GIRLS SOCCER

Lawrenceburg 2, South Dearborn 1 – Lawrenceburg scored the winning goal in overtime. Scoring for LHS were Holly Knippenberg and Lexi Knight off assists from Avery Seig and Ryleigh Offutt. Olivia Bosch made five saves.

East Central 11, Greensburg 0 – EC’s offensive onslaught was led by Ema Hinton with four goals. Julia Tiemann and Erika Wells each had a goal and two assists.

Franklin County 5, Rushville 1 – Grace Noble recorded a hat trick with three FC goals. Brylee Pace and Morgan Stewart also kicked goals for the Wildcats. FC goalkeeper Karlie Hahn made four saves.

Switzerland County 1, Rising Sun 0
