GIRLS SOCCER

Sectional 12 at East Central 

Mt. Vernon (Fortville) 10, Shelbyville 1

East Central 5, Greenfield-Central 0 - Erika Wells, Caitlyn Dick, Julia Tiemann (2), and Sophie Browndyke all scored for the Lady Trojans. East Central will take on Mt. Vernon (Fortville) in the semifinals on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Richmond and New Palestine will immediately follow game one. 

 

Sectional 27 at Batesville

Batesville 8, Herron 1 - The Lady Bulldogs move on to the sectional semifinals, where they will take on Indianapolis Cathedral. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. Thursday. 

Greensburg 7, Beech Grove 2 - Greensburg advances to the sectional finals. They await the winner of Batesville and Cathedral. 

 

Sectional 28 at Rushville

Lawrenceburg 2, South Dearborn 1 - The Lady Tigers knock off the defending sectional champs to move on to the semifinals. Lawrenceburg will take on Franklin County on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Connersville and Rushville will play the other semifinal at 5:00 p.m.

 

Sectional 45 at Rising Sun

South Ripley 1, Rising Sun 0 - South Ripley advances to the semifinals where they will take on Milan. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Oldenburg Academy and Switzerland County will play the other semifinal match at 5:00 p.m.

 

BOYS SOCCER

Sectional 45 at Jac-Cen-Del

Southwestern (Hanover) 1, Rising Sun 0 

Switzerland County 2, South Ripley 1 - Switzerland County and Southwestern will square off in the semifinals on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Milan and Jac-Cen-Del will play the first semifinal at 5:00 p.m.

 

VOLLEYBALL

Lawrenceburg 3, Rising Sun 0 (26-24, 25-18, 25-17) - Lindsay Montgomery was solid for the Lady Shiners with 18 digs and 10 kills.
