The IHSAA Girls Tennis State Tournament got underway on Wednesday.

GIRLS TENNIS

Sectional 16 at East Central - First Round

Lawrenceburg 5, Milan 0 - The Tigers will play South Dearborn on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

East Central 4, Batesville 1 - The Trojans will play Oldenburg Academy on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.

 

Sectional 13 at Connersville - Semi-Finals

Rushville 3, Franklin County 2

Connersville 5, Union County 0 

*Rushville and Connersville will play in the sectional championship on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

Rising Sun 12, Jac-Cen-Del 0 - The Lady Shiners capture a share of the ORVC title with a 9-1 record in conference play. Milan are the co-champs.
