The IHSAA Girls Basketball State Tournament got underway on Tuesday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Whiteland - First Round 

Whiteland 52, East Central 23

  • The Lady Trojans finish the season with a 7-17 record.

 

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Lawrenceburg - First Round

Batesville 49, South Dearborn 25

  • Sophie Gesell (BV): 19 points
  • Bernadette Wismann (SD): 11 points
  • Batesville will play Connersville in the semi-finals on Friday
  • South Dearborn ends the season with a 3-20 record. 

 

Class 2A Sectional 45 at North Decatur - First Round

Switzerland County 47, Hauser 36

  • Macy Collier (SC): 15 points
  • Halle Archer (SC): 13 points
  • Bri Stow (SC): 12 points
  • Switzerland County will play South Ripley in the semi-finals on Friday.
