BOYS BASKETBALL
South Ripley 72, South Dearborn 50 (Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game) - The Raiders spoiled SD's homecoming night, controlling the game from the tip, and jumping out to a 22-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. It was a historic first quarter too, as Raiders senior Cody Samples made his first two baskets, including a 3-pointer that broke the all-time scoring record at South Ripley. The record had stood since 1978. Samples finished the game with 19 points, but it was Jaden Peetz who earned Star of the Game finishing the game with five dunks and 25 points. South Dearborn was led by Eli Hoffman with 18 points. Tanner Hughes was named Homecoming King. Megan Howell is Queen.

Lawrenceburg 64, Rising Sun 50 - The Tigers were led to victory by Logan Scalf and Reece Denning on their Senior Night. Scalf had a career-high 10 points and Denning added 12 points. Dahya Patel and Jackson Bobo also finished in double-figures with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Rising Sun was led in scoring by Landon Cole with 18 points. Chris Bowne chipped in with 6.
